TIME TRIALS AT HORFIELD ON FRIDAY 13TH NOVEMBER 2009  On Friday 13th November 2009, swimming time trials will be held at Horfield for all Junior Squad swimmers between 7pm and 9pm. Time trials are part of a swimmer's development and training and will be held on a regular basis each term. Please note, these are not races, each child will swim against the clock and will have the opportunity to chart his/her progress, the club will put all times on it's online database, thus aiding selection for future swimming galas. Each child will have the opportunity swim 50m in all 4 strokes, and will have the opportunity to participate in the ASA sprint awards. These comprise gold, silver and bronze awards, once qualifying times for each stroke are achieved and the club will inform the swimmer when the standard is reached Parents will then have the opportunity to purchase the relevant certificate and badge if they wish.
