Bristol Henleaze Swimming Club

Bristol Henleaze had an outstanding weekend at the Gloucester Blocks at Horfield. We had 49 PB’s in all with some as much as 20 seconds. Abi Bowring (10 yrs age group) had an awesome weekend with four gold medals in the 50m breast, 50m free, 200m back and 200m IM. There was a magnificent 1-2-3 in the 15yrs girls 400m free with gold for Rebecca Guy, silver for Rebecca Allen and bronze for Jessie Hardy; Rebecca reached the championship final and was placed 6th. There was a 1-2 in the 15yrs girls 200m breast with gold for Rebecca Guy and silver for Millie Marshall; both swimmers reached the championship final in this event and Rebecca took 3^rd place for a bronze medal. Congratulations to Oliver Eyre (13 yrs age group) for silver medals in the 400m free and 200m fly. The county also award finalist medals to swimmers under 14 who gain a top eight place; Georgia Clay, Jessica Hicks, Jane Garry, Jess Bowring, Chloe Davis and Oliver Eyre achieved this distinction. Well done to all swimmers who qualified and took part.
