Bristol Henleaze Swimming Club

This was our first outing in the National League Western division1. We knew we would come up against strong opposition and this proved to be the case. We came 6th (out of 6) but were by no means disgraced and were only two points behind Soundwell in 5th place. The provisional results are

It was a very sound team performance and there were no disqualifications. Some swimmers dashed from other engagements as far away as Swindon and Worcester to support their club and we are very grateful to them for making such a magnificent effort.

Congratulations to Abi Bowring and Oliver Eyre who each won two individual events.

A number of swimmers recorded PB's in individual events or relay lead off legs and they were :- Holly Tanner, Abi Bowring, Daniel Greaves, Barnaby Forrester, Zack Gillet, Lucy Heddington, Curtis O'Connor, Matt Eskell, Oliver Eyre, Katie McLernon, Rebecca Allen, Guy Pearce, Georges Hann and Maddy Williams. Congratulations to all of you.

Swim of the night was by Holly Tanner who did a massive 4.53 sec PB in the 11yr individual 50m free.

We can look forward to Round 2 on November 8th with some confidence so keep up the training!
