A fantastic finish to the year! We travelled to Littledown (Bournemouth) for the national league division 1 'B' final of eight teams on Saturday 13th December and led from start to finish to win the gala. It was a great team performance and thank you to all who took part for making the effort to support BHSC in what is our most important fixture. We bagged no less than 16 first places:- Abi Bowring, Oliver Eyre (4), Millie Marshall, Rebecca Guy (2) and Steve Longland won individual events. There were wins in the both Freestyle and Medley relays for 11yr boys (Barnaby Forrester, Mortimer Forrester, Daniel Greaves and Zachary Gillett), 15 yr Girls (Freestyle - Megan McLernon, Jess Bowring, Katie McLernon and Rebecca Allen and Medley - Katie McLernon, Rebecca Allen, Millie Marshall and Megan McLernon), Mens Open (Freestyle - Luke Porter, Guy Pearce, Oliver Eyre, Tom Probert, Ashley St Leger and Steve Longland and Medley - Steve Longland, Luke Porter, Ashley St Leger and Tom Probert), Boys 15yrs Freestyle relay ( Eddy Wragg, Chris Woodman, Guy Pearce and Oliver Eyre). The provisional result is:-  Squad Warm Up BHSC 279 Poole 262 West Dorset warriors 252 Celtic sharks 231 Street 224 Soundwell 209 Dawlish 171 Bristol North 153 Thank you to Sandra and Tina for running the teams, Katherine for recording the splits and Richard for judging. The evening ended with coach Bob taking an early bath! A final thank you to all who took part in what was one of our finest performances. |
