Bristol Henleaze Swimming Club

The second round of this gala series was held at Keynsham Leisure Centre on Saturday 16th May.  It was a very exciting event which was extremely close right up to the end.  The result was decided on the last event – the canon relay - we were leading by one point going into it and we started off fast and kept the lead throughout to win  by 3 seconds and win the gala.  We achieved 21 PB’s on the night with Hannah Stevens gaining a 3sec PB in her 50 breast.  Special mention to Robbie McLeod who came in at the last minute to replace an injured Zak Elliott and Emily Porter who stepped in to do the 50 fly. 

Thank you to Hilary, Alan, Richard, Jess, Louise and Curtis who helped make the gala possible.
