The first open meet the club is targeting this season is the Bernie Nicol memorial Meet, Bath University. 4th to 6th December 2009. Kelly Longdon has handed out entry packs at sessions. If you did not get a pack and are interested in entering the please email me for one; or to download the pack <click here> The club will enter all swimmers so all you need to do is complete an entry form and hand this in with a cheque made payable to BHSC to Kelly Longdon or a coach. Entry fees are £4.00 per 50m or all four sprints for £15.00, £5.00 per 100m event and £6.00 per 200m event. Please note that there are qualifying times (and cut off times) for this meet and they are long course (50m) times which many of you will not have. You can quite easily convert your short course (25m) times to long course using a converter on the pullbuoy website- http://www.pullbuoy.co.uk/time.shtml#lcsc. If you do not know your times then go to the club web site (bristolhenleazesc.net) and look them up in the results database. You will need to first register on the website to access this information. All swimmers are encouraged to enter this meet provided of course they meet the qualifying times. If you want to enter this meet but do not have a time or feel your time is very out of date then please ask your coach for advice. The deadline for return of forms is Friday 25th September.
