We started the series with a very convincing win. We went with a small team due to being restricted to 20 spectator tickets. Well done to James Amos, Archie Watts, Daniel Hicks, Jessica Kelly, Emma Jones and Samuel Youngman who swam their first gala for the club. We achieved 15 first places, 15 second places, 8 third places. Swimmer of the night went to our only 12 year old girl Holly Tanner who achieved PB’s in all her events. Well done to Sam Marshall who gained a 2 sec PB in his 50 fly. Also well done to Jorji Longdon and Maddy Cheesley who swam up in lots of events. Thank you to all the helpers on the night including Louise Marshall and Curtis O’Connor who seem to work wonders at the gala’s with the younger swimmers.
