Bristol Henleaze Swimming Club

What a lovely sunny day for our Four Seasons gala at Burnham with 10 PB’s on the night.  PB of the night went to Robyn Walker with a 6sec PB in her 50 fly and Oriana Munden with a 4sec PB in her 25 back, well done.

We welcomed a new swimmer to our Team,  Sam Thomas who did the team proud with his contribution in the relays, well done Sam, the first of many gala’s for you.  Thank you to Oscar who took Sam under his wing and made his first gala an enjoyable event and took the nerves away.  Thank you to Robyn who volunteered to do the 50 fly for me.

We had 18 wins on the night but unfortunately this was not enough to win this gala, with another gala on the same day and several of the older swimmers out of action we had a well deserved second place, we need to let the competition win occasionally.

Thank you to Roger, Tina, Hilary, Jake and Jess for helping and missing the football.
