On Friday 23rd March, 2012 swimming time trials will be held at Horfield between 7pm and 9pm. All Junior members are invited to attend. Time trials are part of a swimmer’s development and training. Please note, these are not races - each child will swim against the clock, and will have the opportunity to chart his/her progress. The club will put all times on its database, thus allowing accurate selection for future swimming galas. Swimmers are able to see their times by logging into the website and looking at the results database.
Each child will swim 50m in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke (and butterfly if time allows), and all swimmers will be informed on the night if any sprint award times have been achieved. These comprise of gold, silver and bronze awards with a qualifying time for each stroke. Badges, flashes and certificates for each award will be available to purchase.
All B and C squad swimmers are requested to go to Clifton for their swimming training on Friday, 23rd March.
