| | Cotswold Series 2012 Round 4 April 21st | | | Written by Richard Edwards | | Monday , 23rd April | | This gala was the held at Keynsham Leisure Centre and was the fourth of the Series of 5 galas, the final gala to be held on Saturday May 19th. In the Series there are 20 clubs from the Gloucester and Somerset area. These galas are the designed to give good club swimmers and inexperienced swimmers the chance of taking part in competition galas. At the end of first 4 rounds of the Series the total number of gala points gained by each club is calculated. The 5th round of the Series consists of three finals. The top 8 clubs swim in the A Final, the middle 6 clubs in the B Final and the bottom 6 clubs in the C Final. In the gala our team had 11 PB's from individual swims, 7 first places and 8 second places. There were individual wins for Jacob White (2), Jono Dixon (2) and Rebecca Wheatcroft | There was a relay wins for two of our teams:- The Girls open 4x2 Medley team of Clemency Ursell, Emily Harris, Frankie McDowell and Sophie MennellThe Boys 11/U 4X1 Freestyle team of Ben Badham, Tom Pitt, Jake Weeks and Jacob White. Individual second places for Philippa Gamblin, Rebecca Wheatcroft, Frankie McDowell, Keshan De Alwis and Emily Harris.

For the final round we can only swim those swimmers who have swam in at least one of the first four rounds.
