This gala was the held at Easton Leisure Centre and was the C Final.  In the Series there are 20 clubs from the Gloucester and Somerset area. These galas are the designed to give good club swimmers and inexperienced swimmers the chance of taking part in competition galas. At the end of first 4 rounds of the Series the total number of gala points gained by each club is calculated. The 5th round of the Series consists of three finals. The top 8 clubs swim in the A Final, the middle 6 clubs in the B Final and the bottom 6 clubs in the C Final. Bristol Henleaze swam 50 different swimmers over this series of galas.

The rules of this series of gala meant we could not select any of our 54 swimmers that had swum in the Division 1 National Arena galas in the last 2 years. A lot of the 20 clubs in the Cotswold league we swum against don’t have such exclusions when selecting Cotswold teams.

 In the gala our team had 16 PB's from individual swims, 11 first places and 8 second places.

There were individual wins for Jacob White , Jono Dixon (2), Rebecca Wheatcroft (2), Emily Gale, Will Darby, Robbie McLeod (2), Joe Hubble and May Bingham

There was a relay wins for 6 of our teams:-

The Boys 11/U 4X1 Medley Team Ben Badham, Tom Pitt, Dan Hicks and Jacob White.

The Girls  13/U 4X1 Freestyle Team Charlotte Gale, Imogen Scobie, Jess Kelly and Rebecca Wheatcroft.

The Boys 13/U 4X1 Freestyle Team Danny Valentine, James Slaney, Aaron Adorisio and Robbie McLeod.

The Boys 11/U 4X1 Freestyle Team Joe Hubble, Tom Pitt, Ben Badham and Jacob White.

The Girls 13/U 4X1 Medley Team Emily Gale, Jess Kelly, Rebecca Wheatcroft and Imogen Scobie.

The Boys 13/U 4X1 Medley Team Robbie McLeod, Aaron Adorisio, Danny Valentine and Jamie Athay

A special mention should be made to Imogen Parsons, Emily Harris and Tom Pitt who covered for swimmers who were ill at very last moment.
