The committee of Bristol Henleaze are delighted to formally announce the appointment of Jon Falco to our coaching team with immediate effect.
Some of you already know Jon as he has been assisting Jez with our performance squad for the last 12 months. This has been a really good partnership and as a result we have extended Jon’s hours and he now takes on a central role in driving our club to even greater success.
Jon comes with a brilliant pedigree: a swimmer since the age of 5, a coach for 16 years, he brings with him a wealth of talent. And as importantly, as a former National level competitor, he understands the highs and the lows of swimming and knows what it takes to compete at every level.
He consistently increased County and Regional qualifiers year on year in his previous role as Head Coach at Bristol Penguins and during his tenure coached multiple Regional Age Group Champions and both National Qualifiers and Finalists.
Jez has big plans for Bristol Henleaze and Jon is pivotal to our success moving forward. Jon’s ambitions dovetail neatly into those plans – he wants to help create and coach high performance athletes in a high performance environment to international representation.
Jon’s been coaching his own children (age 6 and 3) and we are looking forward to welcoming Holly, the eldest, who should be joining BHSC in September!
So we’ve been busy: there is lots to do, and this is the first in what will be a few exciting announcements coming over the next few weeks. Our plans for growth are really starting to take shape and the future is looking very bright!
Great coaching, well organised, friendly and welcoming, with opportunities to progress at all levels" - just some of the great feedback from our members.

BHSC is very fortunate to have secured additional pool time for training from September. This has inevitably led to some restructuring for a couple of squads.
The new schedule has now been published (Information tab - Squads and session timetable) and squad lists will be revealed towards the end of next week, when you'll find out who has moved up!
Booking and medical forms can be found under DOWNLOADS - FORMS
