Best behaviour **at all times**'is imperative!
Remember, the club is run by volunteers who give up their time to ensure events like this run smoothly.
According to Swim England (ASA) rules, you are permitted to take photographs or videos of your own children at events (galas, competitions, club champs) but not of any other child or swimmer without their express permission and that of their parent or guardian. Images of children in swimsuits must be above the waist only.
Please ensure there are no identifying marks, such as hats with names on.
Photography is not permitted from behind the blocks.
No photographs must be taken in the changing rooms under any circumstances.
Please DO NOT post images of other children on social media.
You can find a programme showing the swimmers and events for club championships by logging in via the Member's tab. If you can see a problem with your entries then please let Kathryn know now. We won't have printed copies for sale on Sunday, so you may want to print your own or bring along an electronic copy. Heats will be worked out on the day using our Meet Manager software. Entry times are estimates for some swimmers with no recorded times.
If you know that your plans have changed and your swimmer will not be able to take part, please let Kathryn know as soon as possible.
If you still owe money for your Club Champs entries because you put in an entry after the closing date, or found the Active system a step too far, then please hand your payment to Kathryn in an envelope marked with your swimmer’s name. You can find her sorting out results.
Spectator entry fees for Sunday will be £3 per adult (no charge for children) for the day or part day. We will be holding a raffle, cake sale and second hand kit sale - any donations of raffle prizes, cakes or kit can be handed in at the desk on Sunday.
Hilary will be selling club polo shirts (£25), hats ( £7) and Swans goggles (from £20) during the morning session only. You may pay by cash or cheque (payable to Bristol Henleaze SC).
The meet pack contains warm up times and events. Warm up times have not been changed from the original plan. Make sure that your swimmer arrives at least 15 to 20 minutes before the start of the warm up, so that they have time to sign in and get changed. Don’t assume that you can arrive just in time for your event – we had swimmers miss out last year because we finished earlier than anticipated.
