Welcome to Bristol Henleaze Swimming Club

Bristol Henleaze Swimming Club is a community of swimmers, coaches, parents and staff who share a common interest of aiding young people towards their development for competitive swimming.

Founded in 1993, the club has a long and proud tradition of being at the forefront of competition swimming for young people in Bristol up to the present day. Now with close to 400 swimmers, the club has seen a steady rate of success over the past few years to reach some great heights.  We have increased swimmer numbers, County qualifiers, South West Region qualifiers and National qualifiers and have developed great working relationships with University of Bristol, Clifton High School and Everyone Active.  It's therefore a great time to join us!

We train at several pools in the North Bristol area: Clifton High School, University of Bristol, Horfield Leisure Centre, Badminton School and Henbury Leisure Centre.

The club runs a Swim School where children get taught the fundamental skills of the sport. Swimmers can then progress through our Competitive programme or they can choose to follow our Fitness programme.

The club runs three very successful Open Meets per year and compete in the Premier Division of the National Arena League Western. We also provide competitive opportunities for all level of swimmers such as Novice and Development galas, Cotswold League, Club Championships and Level 1, 2 and 3 Open Meets.

Bristol Henleaze is a Swim England affiliated club with SwimMark accreditation.
