SWIM CAMPS

In partnership with Clifton High School, Strength and Swimming and A Sharp Performance, BHSC run swim clinics during all half term holidays and select dates through summer, Xmas and Easter. The clinics are divided into 2 areas that provide scope for a wide array of swimmer/parent requirement and athlete abilities as well as providing opportunities for coach and workforce development.

Alongside our swim camps we also run intensive Learn to Swim programmes - details can be found here and booking can be found also on the links below.

Swim Camp

Swim Camp is a great way to spend one day or a full week of the school holidays. Run by BHSC coaches this is a day long camp that involves stroke and skill development sessions in the pool – including fun competitive extras such as relays and water polo – and dry land strength and conditioning, team building and athletic development games and activities, such as dodgeball, river cross and cones (a favourite agility/reaction game).

The camps are also underpinned by a theme that runs throughout the week and influences the make-up of the wet or dry sessions. Regular themes include Goal Setting, Nutrition, Starts and turns (focussing all stroke and IM transition turns including underwater phases) or simply stroke specific days that concentrate solely on swim and dry land activities to boost performance in the days’ particular discipline.

Whilst technically focussed, Camps are adapted to suit the individual needs of the athlete and so are suitable for all levels of performance.

Easter Swim camp :

Monday 8th April to Thursday 11th aprill - 9:15-15:30

The aim of this week is to have fun with your friends and swim fast.

The week will be full of fun but we will structure the swim sessions to provide a framework for different race skills, including dives, turns and efficiency. The afternoon session will be RACE CLUB, where they will have an opportunity to swim fast over a range of distances.

Suitable for all swimmers with a keen eye for competition and the desire to enhance race specific skills, or simply those ready for a challenge! Open to non-members.

We look forward to seeing you there - please click the link below to register.
