Club AGM

Thanks to the parents who joined us at our Club AGM, on Wednesday evening, 28th Oct. Please find below the Chairman's opening statement:

Bristol Henleaze AGM October 2020 

On behalf of the committee, coaches and swimmers, I would like to thank all parents for the support shown to the swimming club throughout these strange times and ensuring we can come out the other side still intact. Thank you to Jez for producing a land training programme to keep our swimmers and families engaged and doing some land training online exercise, which was also good fun. We now try to build again our timetable, with pool providers, hopefully able to accommodate more training times, although the new normal will look different. 

Financially, as with other swimming clubs, we have been hit terribly hard with loss of income from our swimming meets, which were cancelled. On the committee we welcome Liz Maddocks who has replaced Justine Lord, as Welfare Officer. We thank Justine for her support. We also thank our parent helpers and volunteers, who have contributed to the club in many different ways. Once again thank you to all members, parents and everyone associated with the club, for the patience shown this year and here's hoping for a fantastic 2021.
