Tribute to former Head Coach

It is with great sadness that we learned this week of the passing of former Henleaze Head Coach Bob Lisle.

After a short and sudden illness Bob passed away on Monday at Southmead Hospital.

As well as being a coach in the Club he was also a close friend of many members past and present and he will be very sorely missed - our deepest condolences are with his family at this time.

His funeral is planned for June 10th, 1pm at Canford Crematorium. In order to meet current restrictions there will be an opportunity for anyone wishing to pay their respects by standing a safe distance apart along the hearse’s route from his home in Brentry to the crematorium.

You were a massive part of so many lives at Bristol Henleaze Bob, thank you for your commitment to help every swimmer you met and for inspiring so many young lives with great humour and humility.
